STUDIO

MISSION

Our studio is deeply rooted in ecology, sustainability, reuse, and the belief that making things well takes time.

Our way of working is often slower and more demanding than conventional construction studios. We deliberately limit the use of non-recyclable materials, reuse what already exists, and look for simple, honest solutions before introducing something new. We believe in authenticity, and in moving as far away as possible from a culture of unnecessary consumption.

Sustainability, for us, does not stop at what we build. It extends to how we live and work. We do not impose dietary choices on anyone, but we actively try to reduce our consumption of animal products. We always cook together for our meals 🙂

We are equally committed to reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Since 2025, our studio has operated without fossil fuels and is powered exclusively by clean energy from verified sources. Our next goal is to move towards energy autonomy.

We are wary of greenwashing and of sustainability becoming another form of consumption or branding. We prefer measurable actions, long-term choices, and continuous improvement over easy claims.

Our approach to production is also rooted in direct relationships. Whenever possible, we source materials and resources directly from producers, makers and local suppliers, strengthening the connection between the people who make things and the people who use them.

We love nature, animals, craftsmanship, and the people who bring different perspectives into our work. Over the years, our studio has welcomed people of different nationalities, backgrounds, identities and orientations. We believe in a working environment based on respect, openness and equal treatment, without discrimination.

We are based in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan, within a territory shaped by a profound industrial and working-class tradition, a place with a strong history of labour, community, values and rights. This context is part of who we are and informs the way we work: hands-on, resourceful, independent, and deeply connected to the reality around us.

We are passionate about what we do. And we believe that making something meaningful starts with paying attention — to materials, to people, to the environment, and to the life that already exists around us.
